Job Description

We are a Childrens Clothing & Outdoor Accessories brand, based in Faringdon, Oxfordshire. We specialise in fun footwear, with ranges for Summer and Winter, and pride ourselves on our quality products, and providing a fantastic customer service.

After some great growth in Gift Shops and Garden Centres, we are looking to recruit a Sales Representative to look after our existing customers and find new ones.

This is initially a part-time role, 2-3 days per week, but as you grow the business we'd be very open to growing this to a full time role, and reducing the geography and travel distances by appointing an additional person.

Our existing customers are based all around the UK, but predominantly south of the Midlands. We also anticipate that as we grow, customer HQ meetings will be Midlands and South biased. Therefore this would suit someone living in the southern half of the UK. Our head office and warehouse is in Faringdon, Oxfordshire (SN7), and occasional travel there would be required. Whilst much of the work can be done remotely, an ability to travel to customer meetings and trade shows is a must.

We will work with the right candidate to agree hours that suit - we are ideally looking for 3 days per week, and are open to looking at different working patterns. What is essential though is relevant sales experience and an ability and willingness to travel when needed.

Bonus is payable in addition to the salary indicated

What you'll be doing:



- Identifying new stockists, and prospecting to increase the number of stockists - which will include independents and larger multiples

- Providing great customer service and generating orders from existing stockists

- Taking orders

- Keeping customer lists and price lists updated

- Preparing samples & brochures to send to customers

- Preparation for and attendance at trade shows

What we're looking for:



- Sales experience essential, ideally with gift shops, garden centres, footwear shops & online retailers

- Confident and caring manner with customers on e-mail, phone, and in person meetings

- Good eye for detail and comfortable using computers for day-to-day tasks

- A self-starter who will drive their agenda with minimal support

- Ability to travel regularly, and use of a car for travelling

This role would suit someone who has experience in sales, and is looking for a new challenge to build a brand and take it from a strong network of independents into multiples for the first time.

Pay: 115.00-140.00 per day
