We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in timber sales and a passion for building relationships with clients. This role involves engaging with potential customers, managing accounts, and driving business development initiatives. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in promoting our products while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Conduct outside sales activities to generate leads and develop new business opportunities. Manage existing accounts and build strong relationships with clients to ensure customer retention. Cover the Southwest region and grow a customer base. Track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data. Collaborate with the team to create effective campaigns that drive lead generation. Engage in cold calling and direct sales efforts to expand the customer base. Negotiate contracts and close deals while maintaining high levels of customer service. Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the territory. Up-sell products to existing customers, enhancing their overall experience.

About you

Proven experience in timber sales, external sales, or account management is preferred. Familiarity with timber sales and technical knowledge is a plus. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Experience managing leads and accounts. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Analytical skills for assessing market conditions and developing strategic plans. Previous experience in sales or territory management is advantageous.
