To win high-value home improvement contracts (extensions, conservatories, full refurbishments) by building strong relationships with residential and commercial customers, guiding them through the sales process, and securing projects that align with the company's growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Handling & Qualification
Follow up on qualified leads provided by the marketing/enquiry team
Conduct thorough needs assessments with each client (onsite or remotely)
Use lead qualification criteria to focus on high-value and ready-to-buy prospects
Quoting & Closing
Prepare and deliver detailed, professional quotes
Clearly explain scope of work, build timeline, and value proposition
Negotiate and close contracts with confidence while protecting profit margins
Ensure all paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and timely
Client Relationship Management
Build strong rapport and trust with clients from enquiry to handover
Handle client objections or concerns professionally
Provide regular follow-up and maintain relationships for referrals
Sales Pipeline & Reporting
Maintain up-to-date records in CRM (HubSpot) for every stage of the sales journey
Track conversions, appointment outcomes, and feedback
Attend weekly sales meetings and submit pipeline reports
Collaboration
Work closely with Project Managers, Architects, and Installation Managers
Feedback key learnings from the field to improve quoting accuracy and service delivery
Required Skills & Attributes
Strong verbal communication and confident presentation
Experience in consultative, solution-based selling
Ability to read building/site conditions and understand project requirements
Excellent time management and diary control
Goal-oriented, with a drive to win large contracts
CRM-literate (HubSpot preferred) and disciplined in record-keeping
