Job Description

Ashford United FC is seeking a motivated and organised Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. This is a varied role supporting the club's commercial, marketing, and administrative activities, with a strong focus on fan engagement, sponsorship, and matchday operations.

This position includes working on matchdays (primarily Saturdays, with some midweek evening fixtures).

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Commercial

Support and develop club revenue streams including matchdays, venue hire, soccer schools, and sponsorship Assist with sourcing and liaising with sponsors and commercial partners Maintain memberships, sponsorships, and commercial databases
Marketing

Assist with managing the club's social media channels and creating engaging content Support marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials Update the club website with news, events, and match reports Support community engagement and outreach initiatives
Administration

Provide administrative support to the Club Secretary and management team Assist with player registrations Handle calls, emails, and enquiries from supporters and partners Support matchday and event operations
Skills & Experience

Strong organisational and communication skills Confident using social media platforms Interest in football and club operations Ability to work independently and as part of a team Microsoft Office skills essential; basic graphic design desirable Previous experience in sales, marketing, or administration desirable but not essential
Additional Information

Flexible working hours required, including weekends and evenings Based at Greenbox Stadium (own transport essential)
Salary & Benefits

24,000 - 28,000 per annum, dependent on experience Commission available (OTE up to 40,000) Career development and progression opportunities
