Woodcraft Joinery London Ltd is seeking an experienced
Sales Specialist
with a strong background in bespoke joinery and staircase manufacturing.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in English (spoken and written), confident in client communication, and skilled in managing the entire sales process, from initial enquiry to final project delivery.
Responsibilities
Handle all incoming sales enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Prepare and follow up quotations, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Communicate confidently with clients, architects, and contractors.
Understand technical joinery drawings and specifications to provide accurate advice and quotations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and follow-up.
Work closely with the production and installation teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, finishes, and design options.
Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research and networking
Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions
Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features and benefits
Prepare accurate sales proposals, quotations, and contracts in line with company policies
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and sales performance
Keep detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up tasks using CRM software
Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote products and expand professional networks.
Requirements
Proven experience in
sales within the joinery, carpentry, or construction sector
(essential).
Strong understanding of
bespoke staircases, doors, and windows
.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confident, professional, and persuasive with strong negotiation abilities.
Highly organised with attention to detail and follow-up discipline.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
Proven experience in sales or customer service roles, preferably within a relevant industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously
Proactive attitude with a goal-oriented mindset and resilience in overcoming challenges
Ability to analyse customer needs and offer appropriate solutions effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems is advantageous
A valid driving licence is preferred for client visits and promotional activities
