ABOUT THE ROLE:
Working as part of the Sales team, but very much part of the wider Hope Capital team, you will be instrumental in developing the Hope Capital brand. Working as part of the team to strengthen relationships through effectively managing the sales enquiry process and due diligence before efficiently handing it over to the Underwriting team.
Day to day, you will:
As BDE, you will have a variety of tasks to complete, supporting the Hope Capital team and third parties.
Day to day, you will:
Develop and maintain broker contacts and network relationships via telephone, email and video call
Identify new business opportunities with brokers and intermediaries to generate repeat and referral business
Ensure consistent levels of customer service are met or always exceeded
Set out expectations with brokers/borrowers from initial interaction as to what can and cannot be achieved and the timescales in which this can be done
Actively manage loan enquiries from brokers and direct clients, assessing the information provided and undertaking preliminary enquiries to enable indicative terms to be conveyed to the broker/client and managing the relationship through to loan completion
Use market and competitor knowledge plus customer feedback to identify new opportunities and identify USPs
Assist design, development and modification of processes and product offerings to best fit customer requirements / gaps in the market on a continuous basis
Provide regular competitor feedback to be recorded on the broker feedback log.
Update CRM system regularly following each broker contact and ensure data records are accurate and maintained
Proactively contact existing brokers and new prospects to promote the services of Hope Capital and win new business
To provide support to the National Account Managers for scheduling meetings and?follow up from appointments
Work closely with the underwriting department to ensure a seamless customer experience
Support the Head of Sales and the underwriting team as appropriate
