Job Description

This is a 40 hour per week role. There is an expectation that the role will work on alternate Saturdays, for which time off in lieu during the week will be given.

We're a family business who have been selling second hand cars since 1958 and we have many repeat customers coming back to us because of how we do business. We're now looking for an additional person to join us to provide support in the selling of our vehicles, making sure our customers have a great experience with us.

Here's what you'll be doing:-

Keeping our online Dealer Management System Database and Website up to date - including entering vehicle details, photographing vehicles, replying to review requests, generating order forms and setting up warranties. Taking inbound enquiries via live chat and phone and sending customer e mails - no cold calling is required. Managing the service department diary with taking bookings, organising paperwork and ordering parts and inspecting vehicles for damage. Helping to keep the forecourt tidy and organised ensuring up to date pricing and spec sheets are displayed in vehicles. Greeting our customers on arrival and accompanying them on test drives and being able to talk them through the features of the car and assisting with handovers. Undertake occasional driving jobs or moving cars around the forecourt so a valid full UK driving licence is required.
Here's what we're looking for in you:-

Have a genuine interest in cars and be able to explain the features to customers Strong verbal and written communication and be able to build a rapport with customers. Proven admin and IT skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office and Databases. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail Ability to work on own initiative and occasionally unsupervised for short periods of time.
