United Supplies is a family-run business with several interconnected divisions, including the supply of wines & spirits to the hospitality trade, Duty Free sales to the North Sea, oil, gas and fishing industries, wider wholesale distribution, and a growing digital marketing consultancy service. Each division operates independently, but we work closely as one supportive team with a strong focus on service and long-standing customer relationships.
We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Sales Support Coordinator to work directly with our Sales Manager, who leads the Wine Division. This will be your primary area of responsibility, so an interest in wine is important.
Alongside this, you'll also take an active role in our Wholesale Division, as well as supporting structured tasks within our digital marketing division. These responsibilities form a regular part of the position and will help you build a broader understanding of how the wider business operates.
We're looking for someone with enthusiasm, solid computer skills (particularly Excel), and a willingness to learn. Full training and support will be provided.
Job Summary
This full-time, office based role centres on supporting the Sales Manager in the day to day running of the Wine Division. You'll help manage customer enquiries, update pricing, process orders, support purchasing, and assist in maintaining, and helping grow our customer base.
Beyond your wine related responsibilities, you'll play a key role within the Wholesale Division, including collating and placing orders, checking goods received, invoicing customers, and coordinating logistics. You will also assist the digital marketing team with administrative and data related tasks that contribute to the smooth running of that division.
You'll communicate regularly with customers and suppliers, so clear, confident interaction by phone, email, and in person is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Sales Manager with daily tasks in the Wine Division
Handle customer enquiries, quotations, orders, and follow-ups for the Wine Division
Maintain pricing lists, catalogues, product details, and sales documentation for Wine products
Assist in maintaining existing Wine customers and contribute to new customer growth
Develop wine knowledge to support the Sales Manager and respond to customer queries
Produce sales reports and assist with data analysis related to the Wine Division
Support purchasing, stock ordering, and operational tasks across the wider Wholesale Division
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams on stock and deliveries for both Wine and Wholesale
Support the Digital Marketing division with structured admin tasks, campaign preparation, and data management
Provide flexible administrative support across the business
What We're Looking For
Genuine interest in wine with enthusiasm to learn
Strong computer skills, particularly Excel
Friendly, confident communicator (phone, email, in person)
Detail-oriented and well-organised
Positive, proactive attitude, willing to support multiple divisions
Comfortable working with figures and reports
Experience in admin, sales support, purchasing, hospitality, or marketing is a plus, but not essential

8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: 26,000 per annum
