Role Overview
This is a new role created to support the growth of our consultancy and sales functions. It is offered initially as a fixed-term contract running until August 2026. If the arrangement works well for both you and the business, there is a strong possibility that the role will be extended and may become a permanent position.
We are seeking a Sales Support Coordinator to provide administrative, analytical and organisational support to our two-person sales team. The role includes research, survey facilitation, data handling, budgeting support, route-optimisation and onboarding tasks.
You don't need prior experience in route optimisation or transport planning, but you must be a quick learner. Our experienced sales team will train you on all specialist areas, including surveys, budget preparation and route-planning tools.
Key Responsibilities
Research schools, transport contexts, catchment data and competitor info
Facilitate parent and staff transport surveys: managing distribution, tracking responses, drawing out insights and compiling results
Assist with route optimisation tasks such as data preparation, mapping and spreadsheets (full training provided)
Support budgeting for transport services: collecting cost inputs, updating templates and preparing financial summaries
Maintain internal systems, spreadsheets and databases
Help prepare presentations, proposals and follow-up materials for schools
Coordinate workflow for the sales team: track deadlines, highlight issues and keep tasks moving, assist with events and conferences
Support ad hoc administrative and research tasks as required, including to support the wider StudentSafe team where appropriate
Person Specification
Essential:
A quick learner, comfortable picking up new systems, tools and processes
Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Confident using Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint or Slides
Comfortable working with data and digital tools
Self-motivated, dependable and able to work remotely
Available Monday to Friday, 10:00-15:00 for the duration of the fixed-term contract until August 2026
Willing to be trained in route optimisation, surveys and budgeting
Desirable (not required):
Experience in sales support, administration or operations
Familiarity with transport, logistics or route planning
Experience working with schools
Exposure to budgeting or data analysis
Comfortable communicating with a range of stakeholders
What We Offer
A remote fixed-term contract until August 2026, with the possibility of extension into a permanent position
18,000 p/a salary for 25 hours/week (equivalent to 28,000 full time)
