Sales Support Executive

Remote, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Job Summary

As a Sales Support professional at Trustmarque, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and efficient support service for both our customers and the Sales team. You'll be responsible for producing accurate quotations, managing supplier communications, and maintaining an exceptional standard of customer service. This is an exciting time to join as the team undergoes a transformation and training plan designed to elevate the value we bring to the quoting and ordering experience.

What makes the role exciting?

You'll be at the heart of a collaborative and evolving team, directly impacting customer satisfaction and sales efficiency. This role offers exposure across multiple departments, opportunities to build strong supplier and customer relationships, and the chance to drive continuous improvement within a growing business.

What you'll be doing:

Source hardware and software quotations from our preferred supplier base, ensuring competitive pricing, stock availability, and commercial accuracy. Create customer-facing quotations while adhering to a strict 4-hour SLA response time. Identify and record savings, special bids, and deal registration opportunities on a central database. Collaborate with the wider Sales Support team via a shared mailbox, managing workload effectively and communicating any delays. Build and maintain professional relationships with Sales teams, customers, suppliers, and vendors. Attend customer, supplier, or Sales calls to stay updated on account activity and urgent requests. Maintain and manage CRM systems for lead generation and account transfers.

You'll also:

Work closely with internal departments to resolve customer queries efficiently. Cross-train team members and share best practices. Identify process improvements and proactively suggest training opportunities with vendors or alliances. Play an active role in driving efficiencies, savings, and value-add opportunities for both the Sales team and customers.

Here's what we're looking for:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage colleagues and senior management confidently. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Ability to prioritise, multitask, and manage your workload effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proactive and solution-focused mindset with ownership of tasks through to completion. Confident negotiator with a collaborative approach to teamwork. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience in an office-based or team environment. Previous experience in a similar role within an IT reseller or technology environment.

Bonus points:

Understanding of basic quote-to-order process flows. Experience using CRM or e-commerce tools. Familiarity with shared mailbox environments and mailbox management best practices. Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and adapting to change. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving commercial efficiency.
