Job Description

Purpose



To provide professional support to the Sales Manager and Sales team, enabling the sales function to run efficiently and effectively. The role focuses on maintaining CRM accuracy, producing reports, supporting campaigns, coordinating customer interactions, and carrying out targeted outbound activity as directed. This position does not independently own a sales pipeline but plays a vital role in supporting customer engagement and freeing up the Sales Manager to focus on strategic opportunities.

Key Responsibilities



CRM & Data Management



Maintain accurate Salesforce records (contacts, accounts, opportunities, activities).

Ensure data integrity and prepare dashboards for the Sales Manager.

Sales Support & Coordination



Assist with scheduling customer visits/meetings and following up on agreed actions.

Provide reporting packs and pipeline updates to support management decisions.

Assist with coordinating competitor and market insight gathering to support sales strategy.

Targeted Outbound Support



Conduct focused outbound calls/emails to lapsed or low-spend accounts, as directed by the Sales Manager.

Qualify basic information (e.g., decision maker, timing, requirements) and hand over to the Sales Manager.

Campaign & Marketing Support



Support the delivery of campaigns (LinkedIn activity, newsletters, mailouts).

Monitor campaign engagement and provide reports on outcomes.

Coordinate with company on events, trade shows, and customer communications where needed.

Internal Collaboration



Work closely with the Sales Manager and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of customer projects.

Skills & Experience



Experience in sales support, CRM management, or customer service.

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Confident communicator (phone, email, written).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams and Salesforce.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work with initiative.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 30,000.00 per year
