Job Title: Sales Support Executive

Role Overview
The Sales Support Executive will play a critical role in supporting the UK sales team by ensuring smooth sales operations, accurate documentation, timely coordination, and high-quality customer engagement. This role acts as a bridge between sales, operations, finance, and customers, enabling the sales team to focus on revenue generation while maintaining a professional and responsive sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Support
  • Support the sales team with quotations, proposals, and order processing
  • Act as the first point of contact for sales-related customer queries
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
  • Assist in managing key accounts and follow-ups
Sales Operations & Coordination
  • Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, finance, operations) to ensure timely order fulfilment
  • Track order status and communicate updates to customers and sales managers
  • Support contract administration, framework agreements, and pricing approvals
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate sales data
Reporting & Administration
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance summaries
  • Track sales pipelines, conversion rates, and outstanding actions
  • Support invoicing coordination and basic commercial documentation
  • Ensure compliance with internal sales processes and documentation standards
Marketing & Business Support
  • Support sales-led marketing activities such as:
  • Events
  • Product launches
  • Customer presentations
  • Attending Exhibitions
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations and marketing materials
  • Coordinate with marketing teams on leads and campaign follow-ups
Skills & Experience
Essential
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales support, sales operations, or commercial administration
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Desirable
  • Experience supporting B2B sales teams
  • Background in energy, technology, manufacturing, or industrial sectors
  • Familiarity with order-to-cash processes
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams
