Sales Team Manager - 12-month fixed term contract

Do you have strong leadership skills with proven success in a B2B sales environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Team Manager to join EDF on a 12-month fixed term contract!

The Opportunity

As a Sales Team Manager, you will be tasked with coaching, leading and developing a team of Sales Executives, who have responsibility for delivering high value and high-quality renewal and prospect sales to Mid-Market business customers.

What you\'ll be doing

Principal accountabilities

  • Achieve Sales Gross Margin and volume targets related to the sale of supply contracts. Take ownership for tracking and measuring performance against targets
  • Using internal and external coaching strategies, mentor and develop your team to maximise sales performance
  • Be educated in the B2B energy industry and market drivers. Maintain knowledge of market changes, regulation and policy, the energy landscape and how it impacts our business customers
  • Motivate and engage your team to create a positive culture
  • Collaboratively strategise for solving deal-level challenges
  • Gather and internally share the latest customer information in order to enhance Marketing and Customer Strategy teams\' customer intelligence
  • Identify and act on areas to improve the customer experience
  • Develop and maintain strong networks with internal and external stakeholders, up to Exec level
  • Maximise engagement with customers / Channel Partners to deliver value for EDF
  • Ensure accurate and timely information is maintained in the appropriate IT systems
  • Adhere to all agreed policies and procedures to ensure governance compliance and completeness
Who you are

We\'re looking for someone who is highly motivated to succeed in order to drive your team to achieve stretching targets.

You\'ll need to be results driven, with the ability to effectively disrupt and influence customers\' thinking and build consensus for EDF solutions, often at multiple levels within customer and Channel Partner businesses.
