MAIN PURPOSE & SCOPE OF THE JOB
As a results-driven and customer-focused Sales Representative, you are responsible for identifying and acquiring new retail stockists across the Pharmacy and Heath food store sector, nurturing existing relationships and achieving sales targets through ongoing product training, in-store brand visibility and support.
Flexibility is essential at Wren Laboratories, with all teams working closely together to support and develop the 'Optibac' brand, so occasional additional support duties may be required in other areas of the business.

The post includes the following key areas:
Sales Growth & Development
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets in assigned territories.
Actively engage with current and potential customers, including health food stores, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals (e.g., nutritionists, dietitians, etc.), to promote the company's range of probiotics
Conduct in-store visits and consultations with retailers to drive product visibility, brand awareness and optimize merchandising efforts.
Identify new sales opportunities and effectively present products to potential customers, closing sales and expanding the customer base.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and conferences to promote products and build brand awareness.
Customer Training
Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to retail teams and health professionals on product benefits, proper usage, and nutritional science using company marketing assets.
Serve as a trusted product expert by staying up-to-date on the latest research and trends related to health and nutrition.
Offer ongoing education and support to customers, ensuring they are fully informed and able to confidently promote and recommend the Optibac range.
Account Management & Relationship Building
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts, serving as their primary point of contact for product information and sales support.
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction, including handling inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly.
Partner with retailers to create customized promotional programs and in-store events to drive product engagement and sales.
Manage free stock, marketing assets and any trade spend appropriately to drive the strongest commercial outcomes.
Open new accounts, build key relationships across various levels and generate sales in both independent and regional accounts.
Ensure accounts adhere to our retail criteria and be responsible for boosting brand awareness in every account, in line with our brand guidelines.
Reporting & Analysis
Track and report on sales performance, customer engagement, and training effectiveness within assigned territory.
Create new opportunities via strong analysis of territory with our stockists to ensure we achieve secondary siting and new listings
Provide insights and feedback to the sales and marketing teams on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
Participate, contribute and share best practice within team meetings.
Efficiently manage own administration, a CRM system, and notes.
Manage monthly territory expenditure.
This position requires regular travel within the assigned territory for customer visits, training sessions, and events. Occasional travel to HQ (Andover, Hampshire) and overnight travel may be required.

KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Diploma, Advanced Diploma or relevant Degree in nutrition / nutritional therapy / naturopathy / complementary health / good knowledge in health and nutrition advantageous
Previous sales experience advantageous
Experience of working in the natural products or Healthcare industry advantageous
A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable car for permitted business use required (unless London based).
