Sales & Transport Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sales & Logistics Administrator to join our team. This hybrid role combines customer service excellence with operational coordination, supporting our sales team through efficient order processing and transport scheduling. You'll be the first point of contact for regular customers, ensuring their needs are met with accuracy and care, while also managing the logistics behind timely deliveries.

Responsibilities:



Process customer orders promptly and accurately using our internal systems. Coordinate with the sales team and drivers to ensure timely delivery and fulfilment of orders. Scheduling of deliver routes using routing software. Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records and order information. Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information and pricing. Assist in preparing quotations and proposals for customers. Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing and logistics to ensure seamless operations.

Who We're Looking For:



The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail, transport or customer service environment.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, order processing delivery optimisation.

Knowledge of gardening or landscaping products is advantageous but not essential.
