We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Workshop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our workshop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage a diverse team of skilled professionals.

Duties

Manage and supervise all workshop activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Coordinate workflow and schedules to optimise productivity and meet project deadlines. Train, mentor, and evaluate workshop staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. Maintain inventory levels of tools, materials, and equipment, ensuring availability for ongoing projects. Conduct regular inspections of work processes and equipment to identify areas for improvement. Liaise with clients and other departments to ensure clear communication regarding project requirements and timelines. Implement best practices for workshop operations, including health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proven experience in a managerial role within a workshop or similar environment. Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal skills to motivate and manage a team effectively. Proficient in project management techniques with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to workshop operations. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in both processes and outputs. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and stakeholders at all levels.
