Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for tracking purposes. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Skills

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Valid driving licence with the ability to operate various vehicle types, including drivers' vehicles. Experience in commercial driving is an advantage. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record. Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during deliveries. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
