The Opportunity

This is a truly excellent opportunity for a Technical Architect (Salesforce) to become part of our brand-new Centre of Excellence dedicated to ensuring all capabilities relating to Salesforce are managed through a single organisation. JLR has recognised the importance of Salesforce which has resulted in JLR Digital developing this fresh team pledged to maximising the capability of Salesforce.

It is vital that the individual is able to communicate in a positive and effective manner across a variety of key stakeholders, while ensuring that the team is defining and implementing Salesforce Strategies across JLR\'s digital domain.

The successful individual will have the opportunity to play a leadership role in helping JLR business to understand and assure any Salesforce technical solutions whilst leading other Technical Architects to ensure that the customer/user goals are central in both the project design and execution.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Actively engage and lead strategic engagements, both technical and business focused to build winning, differentiated Salesforce capabilities and value within JLR.

Provide leadership to the wider Digital technical community and develop relationships with senior business leaders to influence design proposals.

Work with other members of the JLR Salesforce Centre of Excellence and wider teams to determine plans and execute the best strategy.

Expertly present Salesforce technology, application development, infrastructure, security and integration capabilities and how they can be leveraged to optimise the outcome for user/customer.

Support the Principal Technical Architect in the maintenance and support of the Salesforce Reference Architecture.

Develop a good understanding of the opportunities for further innovation using Salesforce capabilities across JLR and contribute to JLR\'s Salesforce platforms and toolset strategy, for adoption by all relevant parts of JLR.

Stay abreast of emerging Salesforce technologies and understand relevance and exploitation potential to in-flight and future capabilities at JLR.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

In-depth knowledge of all the main Salesforce clouds (with an understanding of Autocloud) and how they can be configured, business capabilities and development.

Imperative for the individual to communicate in a positive and open manner when looking to tackle challenges.

Hands-on technical support including troubleshooting and confidently able to explore and challenge stakeholders in a positive manner.

Experience working with Salesforce administration, implementation and strategy.

Salesforce.com certified, preferably Application and/or System Architect.

An individual who can apply methodical rigour to complex tasks, collaborate across functions and combine a short-term, pragmatic focus with a strategic vision across the organisation to achieve the required outcome.

Strong numeracy and literacy and proficiency in the technical configuration of Salesforce solutions.

This role may offer the opportunity for hybrid working where you can split your time between working from home and in the office.
