Sales / Kitchen Assistant

to join our

Partney Roundabout Spar

store. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about food preparation, customer service, and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. If you enjoy working in a busy kitchen and talking to customers while serving fuel and groceries, this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation:

Cook bacon, sausages, pastries, pizzas, and prepare sandwiches, baguettes, and other food items to order for our customers.

Kitchen & Counter Cleanliness:

Ensure the kitchen area and serving counter are clean, organized, and fully stocked.

Food Safety & Hygiene:

Follow food safety guidelines and maintain high hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and serving areas.

Customer Service:

Serve customers with fuel, groceries, and offer a friendly, helpful service at the till.

Stock Rotation & Inventory:

Assist with stock management, ensuring stock is rotated and fresh.

Post Office Duties:

Train and support the team in post office services as needed.

Skills & Experience:

Previous Experience:

Experience in a catering or fast food restaurant environment is

desirable

, but not essential.

Food Safety Knowledge:

Understanding of food safety practices and hygiene procedures.

Customer-Focused:

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Team Player:

Able to work well within a team and stay calm under pressure.
