Capital Wholesalers is a trusted name in the fresh produce industry, supplying top-quality fruit and vegetables across Edinburgh. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Salesperson to join our team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Salesperson, you'll be responsible for both procurement and sales of fresh produce within our existing client base, while also identifying and developing new business opportunities. Your knowledge of the fruit and vegetable market will be essential to providing tailored solutions, growing customer accounts, and driving company growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and grow existing customer relationships. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand our client base. Achieve and exceed sales targets and profit margins. Provide excellent customer service and expert product advice. Collaborate with procurement to ensure seamless service. Assist in picking/assembling customer orders when required. Maintain accurate customer records using CRM tools.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Proven sales experience, ideally within the fresh produce industry. Strong knowledge of the fruit and vegetable market (preferred). Commercially driven and profit-focused mindset. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Customer-focused with a passion for service. Able to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. IT literate with experience using CRM systems. Full, clean UK driving license (essential).
