Duties

Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide exceptional service. Demonstrate product knowledge and effectively communicate features and benefits to customers. Assist customers in selecting products that meet their requirements, ensuring satisfaction throughout the purchasing process. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays. Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment. Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is key. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Excellent verbal communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and cash management. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
