Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their shopping experience. This role requires a passion for sales and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Applicant must be computer literate and willing to learn to handle company web page. Computer proficiency could potentially lead to more weekly hours.

The successful applicant must be capable of heavy lifting to unload deliveries in when required. Also to help rearrange floor display.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide personalised assistance. Demonstrate product knowledge and effectively communicate features and benefits to customers. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring displays are tidy. Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat business and foster loyalty. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive team environment. Handle goods in/out. Be willing to undertake delivery duties to customers homes if required,

Skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and active listening abilities. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic mathematical skills for processing transactions and handling cash. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to think on your feet. Previous experience in retail or sales is advantageous but training will be given. J

Pay: 12.75-13.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
