Full time Driver required to join Global Service Group (GSG) for a contract based in Sunbury on Thames. The contract will operate with daily scheduled routes working within the Water sample sector - this is not a multi-drop contract. You will visit just 4 collection sites per day with 2 return visits to the laboratory. All collections are timed and mapped giving you plenty of time between collections

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Hours Per Week: 50

Shift: start time 09:30 am Monday to Friday

Flexibility for weekend working (Overtime)

Basis: Permanent

Collection of samples from our clients' sites as requested.

Delivery of samples in a reasonable timeframe and in good condition

Driving at all times in a safe and appropriate manner; always courteous to other road users

Ensuring the temperature control of the vehicle's fridge is maintained at all times.

Developing and maintaining a good professional relationship with staff.

Maintaining a degree of flexibility on collection runs to allow for additional requests and traffic delays.

Maintaining a smart appearance of both driver and vehicle; project a positive public image.

You will be supplied with a telephone which your jobs will come through to each night, fuel card and uniform.

THE PERSON

To be successful in this role you will be motivated, punctual, dedicated, and someone who gets things done.

You will need to work within a team ensuring the drivers are on time for their deliveries and collections.

Able to respond to any holiday, sickness or breakdowns cover when required for any of the routes.
