Sander/Finisher - Timber Windows & Doors

Location: Enfield, North London

Salary: 28,600 - 32,000 per year (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Probation: 3-month probation with potential salary increase upon successful completion

We are a busy joinery workshop in Enfield, North London, specialising in high-quality timber sash windows and doors. Our products are crafted using Accoya timber and finished to exacting standards for clients across London.

We are looking for a Sander/Finisher to join our workshop team. You will be responsible for preparing timber windows and doors for finishing by sanding and filling surfaces to a high standard. The role also includes assisting with priming and may offer training in spray finishing.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with sanding experience or a keen eye for detail who wants to develop their skills in joinery finishing and coatings.

Key Responsibilities:

Sand and prepare timber windows and doors using belt and orbital sanders. Fill and smooth surfaces in preparation for priming and top-coating. Assist with spray priming and sanding between coats. Maintain a high level of finish and quality control throughout. Work as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Requirements:

Previous experience in sanding, timber finishing, or joinery is desirable. Willingness to learn and develop spray finishing skills. Excellent attention to detail and work ethic. Punctual, reliable, and able to follow workshop processes.
