We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables and preparing sauces. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored to maintain quality. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service.

Experience

Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling orders and managing inventory are required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn and help others within the team is essential for success in this role.

Pay: 11.44-12.50 per hour
