JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: SANDWICH ARTIST
Reports to the Team Leader and Manager.
Duties
The Sandwich Artist is expected to carry out the following duties:
? To provide excellent customer service;
Greet and welcome customers to Subway, serve quality made sandwiches to
customer specification
? Food preparation;
Prepare vegetables; pan, retard and bake bread; prepare meat setups, and ensure
front counter is well stocked with fresh produce
? Paperwork and cash handling;
Carry out cash-ins, use cash register
? Cleaning;
Ensure customer area and back room is kept clean and tidy; take part in the
cleaning rota.
? Any other duties commensurate with the position.
To perform the above tasks the Sandwich Artist will use the following equipment:-
? cash register
? knives
? bread oven
? microwave
? vegetable slice
? computer
Skills/Person Specification
The Sandwich Artist will be a good communicator, quick paced, reliable and flexible.
He/she must be educated to a good standard and be able to carry out instructions accurately.

Hours
Hours are flexible and will be decided by both parties (employee and employer).
Salary and Benefits
The Sandwich Artist will be paid an hourly rate based upon the current career ladder, plus
benefits. The Sandwich Artist will also be entitled to a free employee meal while on shift
and free refreshments. There is opportunity for career progression and competitive salary
increases.
General
Full training will be given on all aspects of the job.
The Sandwich Artist must be prepared to wear a uniform. The uniform consists of black trousers, black shoes, polo shirt, baseball cap, and apron. The company will provide the ( Polo t-shirt, cap & apron)
