We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches while ensuring exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. You will play a vital part in our restaurant operations, contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling additional items when appropriate. Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, conducting regular inventory checks. Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including equipment and work surfaces. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Manage time effectively to meet customer demands while maintaining quality standards.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measurements accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is advantageous but not essential. Ability to help customers with their choices and provide excellent service at all times.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
