Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the preparation process. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling additional items when appropriate. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including washing utensils and equipment after use. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. Previous barista experience preferred but not essential Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. A positive attitude with a willingness to help customers and work as part of a team. Culinary skills or experience in food preparation would be advantageous.

Pay: From 12.22 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
