We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety standards are met. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including slicing vegetables, meats, and cheeses. Serve customers with a friendly attitude, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while handling food products.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is preferred. Familiarity with restaurant operations and serving techniques. Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Basic math skills for managing orders and portion sizes accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Culinary experience is an advantage, particularly in sandwich making or similar roles. Ability to upsell menu items effectively, enhancing the customer experience while increasing sales.
