Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals, ensuring that all food safety standards are met. You will play a vital part in creating a positive dining experience for our guests while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Training will be provided: Food Hygiene and Safety Level 2 for Catering and Allergen Awareness (with Natasha's Law).

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food preparation and cooking processes. Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Participate in meal preparation for catering events as required, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service times. Support the head chef and other team members with various culinary tasks as needed.

Skills

Previous experience in a chef de partie or catering environment is preferred at least 2 years. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen setting. Good communication skills to work collaboratively with team members. A passion for cooking and an eagerness to develop culinary skills further. Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of food preparation. Can work in a fast-paced enviornment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
