We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by preparing delicious sandwiches while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches, toasties and wraps according to customer specifications and menu guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all food preparation surfaces are sanitised. Assist in the management of stock levels, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and available for use. Follow food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Perform basic maths calculations for portioning ingredients and managing inventory.

Skills

Culinary skills with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques. Recent experience at a deli counter or cafe. Basic maths skills for accurate measurement and portioning of ingredients. Strong time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is essential. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a dynamic setting.
