We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. Previous experience in delivery driving is advantageous, with a good local knowledge of the area

Duties

Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to company recipes and customer preferences Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the food preparation area in compliance with health and safety standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, ovens, and refrigeration units Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and restocking supplies as needed Ensure all food items are stored correctly and labelled appropriately Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate orders and ensure timely service Support delivery operations when required delivering orders to customers in a time sensitive and safe manner

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or as a sandwich maker is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Experience in delivery driving is advantageous, with a good local knowledge of the area Valid driving licence with experience in delivery driver is desirable Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Organised with good attention to detail to ensure food safety standards are met Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks such as lifting boxes or equipment
