We are seeking a friendly and efficient Counter Staff member to join our team. Responsibilities

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently at the counter Prepare food items in accordance with health and safety standards Serve customers with a friendly and professional attitude Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is desirable but not essential Knowledge of food preparation and safety standards is advantageous Experience in serving customers with excellent communication skills Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory Familiarity with time management techniques to handle high-volume periods effectively

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
