We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. You will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Prepare a wide range of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all food items are prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Assist in serving customers with a friendly attitude, ensuring their orders are accurate and timely. Upsell additional menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and inventory management. Follow proper storage procedures for ingredients to minimise waste and ensure freshness.

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role within a restaurant environment is preferred. Familiarity with food safety practices and kitchen operations is essential. Culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts are required. A positive attitude towards serving customers and working as part of a team is essential. NO EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS. We work very nice hours!

Your work schedule would be

FT 6.00am - 3.00pm Monday to Friday (45 hours per week).

PT 10.30am-3pm Monday to Friday ( 22 hours )

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-14.40 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
