As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for crafting delicious sandwiches while ensuring food safety and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting will contribute to our customers' satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare high-quality sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Adhere to food safety guidelines and hygiene standards throughout food preparation Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours Perform basic math calculations for portioning ingredients and managing orders

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred Strong food preparation skills with knowledge of culinary techniques Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Basic math skills for accurate order preparation and inventory tracking Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field
