Overview:
Shift supervisor
Earls is a quality-focused eatery specialising in a single offering: the Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich. We take great pride in producing all elements of our sandwiches in-house -- including freshly baked bread, pickles, roasted meats, vegan products, and house-made sauces.

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Sandwich Maker to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive, well-organised kitchen environment, with the potential for progression to a Shift Manager position after a short period.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble Banh Mi sandwiches to a high and consistent standard Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and replenished as needed Maintain a clean and hygienic work area at all times Assist with inventory checks and restocking duties Accurately take and process customer orders Deliver excellent customer service, including offering recommendations and up selling where appropriate

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen, cafe, or food preparation role is preferred Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations Good communication and basic numeracy skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask effectively A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team Willingness to learn and contribute to a respectful, hard-working kitchen environment
