Sap Basis Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Analyst to support and optimise our SAP landscapes across development, quality, and production environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in SAP NetWeaver administration, system performance, security, and project support-including preparation activities for S/4HANA initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain SAP system landscapes, including installation, configuration, patching, kernel upgrades, and performance tuning.
  • Monitor overall system health and proactively troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
  • Manage SAP Transport Management System (TMS), including transport configuration and movement of changes across environments.
  • Handle SAP user administration, authorisation roles, access controls, and security compliance.
  • Implement and support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to protect critical data.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, developers, and infrastructure partners on SAP upgrades, system migrations, refreshes, and integration initiatives.
  • Provide Basis expertise on architecture, system optimisation, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Support S/4HANA pre-project assessments, including system evaluation, sizing, and readiness activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, system architecture, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with SAP TMS, user/role administration, and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with backup/recovery tools, high-availability concepts, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Experience with SAP upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
  • Exposure to S/4HANA or HANA-based systems a strong plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
