About the role:
We require an SAP expert in Stores and Materials Management. This role focuses on optimising and managing the flow of materials within the organization, from procurement to inventory control and eventually, delivery to the point of use or customer.
What you'll do:
The following responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Leading the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MM (Materials Management) solutions to meet business needs, particularly related to store operations.
Managing master data, including materials, vendors, and purchasing information records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Streamlining processes related to goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, and physical inventory management.
Providing end-user training and support for SAP MM functionalities and best practices.
Collaborating with various departments (e.g., finance, sales, production, logistics, IT) to ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other modules and systems.
Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities within stores and materials management processes, leveraging SAP functionalities.
Developing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including functional specifications, design documents, and user manuals.
Troubleshooting and resolving system issues, implementing fixes, and enhancements as required.
Staying up to date with SAP MM advancements, industry best practices, and new technologies (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, cloud solutions).
What we need from you:Proven experience in SAP MM implementation and support, with a strong understanding of core functionalities and configuration.
Expertise in procurement, inventory management, and store operations best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues and propose effective solutions.
Experience with SAP MM integration with other modules (e.g., SD, PP, FI, WM).
Proactive approach to work, with a positive and professional attitude.
Comprehensive IT skills: Microsoft Excel experience is essential.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal, enabling you to liaise with and relay information to all relevant stakeholders within the business.
Previous experience working in a low-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive, is desirable.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
