About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

SAP FI Business Transformation Lead

with a strong background in the

retail sector

to drive end-to-end SAP Finance transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in leading large-scale SAP FI implementations, designing innovative finance solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize retail finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead

end-to-end SAP FI transformation programs

, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. Partner with

business and IT stakeholders

to define finance transformation strategies specific to the retail sector. Design, configure, and implement

SAP FI solutions

covering core finance processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling. Drive

business process improvements

by integrating SAP FI capabilities with retail-specific requirements (e.g., store operations, supply chain finance, promotions, and revenue recognition). Provide thought leadership in

finance digital transformation initiatives

, including automation, process optimization, and advanced reporting. Manage and mentor cross-functional teams throughout project lifecycles. Ensure compliance with

finance, tax, and audit requirements

within SAP FI solutions. Build strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure adoption and long-term sustainability of solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.

10+ years of SAP FI experience

, with at least

5+ years in leadership roles

delivering transformation programs. Proven track record of

SAP FI implementations

in the

retail sector

(mandatory). Strong knowledge of

finance processes, accounting principles, and retail operations

. Experience integrating SAP FI with

MM, SD, and retail-specific modules

. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills. Strong problem-solving ability and a strategic mindset.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to

S/4HANA Finance

transformation projects. Knowledge of

emerging technologies

in finance (RPA, AI-driven analytics, predictive insights). Global project management experience with multicultural teams.
