Role Summary

This role sits within the Parker Aerospace Manufacturing Applications team, to provide BAU support and roll out the SAP application across Aerospace Group. The SAP procurement, inventory and warehouse expert will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing Parker Aerospace organization's procurement, material, inventory and warehouse management processes through the effective implementation, BAU support and management of SAP solution. This position is essential for ensuring the seamless operation of procurement and inventory functions, thereby enabling accurate supply-chain reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making.


In this role, you'll ensure that SAP systems are aligned with business goals, enabling accurate reporting, effective supply chain process management, and informed decision-making. The role is critical in maintaining operational continuity, and in contributing to the overall success of the procurement and Inventory function within the organisation.

Core Responsibilities

Act as a core member of an agile, dynamic focused team driven by business change and continuous improvement Lead the implementation and support of the SAP solution, enhance the business functionality and overall performance Implement and deploy SAP template solution to achieve defined business goals to design, maintain, deploy solution for Procurement, Inventory and Warehouse component and cross functional components such as production planning, procurement Acting point of contact to the business, addressing all Procurement, Inventory and Warehouse solution issues and requirements within implemented template and highlight the impact of changes Work with the business to analyse and define future requirements, processes and objectives to scope priorities, change and deliverables. Lead and facilitate workshops and requirement gathering sessions Design, build and implement business-specific solutions and deploy through the standard governance of solution testing, issue resolution into go-live support Apply SAP industry best practices and promotes continuous process improvement Create end-user training, including the creation of appropriate documentation and user manuals Manage the design, documentation, configuration and implementation of processes and process improvements in conjunction with site process owners, Super Users, SAP functional specialists and third-party Initiate continuous improvements activities to increase the efficiency of the business information systems and meet global business objectives

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Proven, tried and tested Functional Expert with SAP experience Multiple full end-to-end lifecycle implementation experience In-depth understanding of SAP materials, Procurement, Inventory and Warehouse management functions SAP solution design, configuration and testing experience Minimum 5 years' experience in SAP implementation and support SAP ECC and S/4 knowledge Expert functional and technical knowledge of SAP applications and processes in the across functional areas of MM, WM, PP, IM and Procurement
