Role Overview

We are seeking experienced and motivated

Competitive Gymnastics Coaches

to join our team. The successful candidates will work with our competitive squads, supporting gymnasts as they train towards regional, national, and (potentially) international competitions. You will play a key role in developing technical skills, strength, discipline, and confidence in a supportive yet performance-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver progressive training sessions for competitive squads. Develop gymnasts' technical skills across apparatus, with a strong focus on competition readiness. Support athletes with physical conditioning, flexibility, and injury prevention. Prepare gymnasts for competitions, including choreography, routine construction, and mental preparation. Identify and nurture talent within the programme. Work collaboratively with the coaching team to ensure consistency across all levels. Ensure safeguarding, safety, and wellbeing are prioritised at all times.
Person Specification

Essential:



UKCC Level 2 Artistic Gymnastics (minimum) or equivalent. (If you do not have a qualification still apply if you have experience as an ex gymnast) Experience coaching gymnasts within a competitive pathway. Strong technical knowledge of skills, routines, and progression methods. Ability to motivate, inspire, and support athletes of different ages and abilities. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Commitment to inclusivity, athlete-centred coaching, and safeguarding.

Desirable:



Level 3+ coaching qualification. Judging qualification or experience supporting competitions. Experience working with elite or high-performance gymnasts. First Aid and Safeguarding certifications.
