Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our Saturday Morning team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate Children of pre school age.
Responsibilities
Teach fundamental skills and techniques in various sports disciplines. Organise and lead practice sessions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment. Develop game strategies and prepare age appropriate sessions Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among children. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other coaching staff regarding training schedules and athlete development.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching is essential. Level 2 in a sport, dance or gymnastics Strong knowledge of the sport(s) being coached, including rules, techniques, and strategies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. First Aid certification (desired) Lead safe guarding training (desired)
Teaching Saturdays 8.45am - 10.00am
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 20.00-22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 per week
Experience:
Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (required) Sports Coaching Level 2 Qualification (preferred)
Work Location: In person
