Viewing Agent - Brief outline of duties:
At Pedder no day is ever the same, however below you will find a brief outline of some of your key supportive duties:
Supporting an assigned office by carrying out effective pre-arranged viewings on local properties.
Having expert knowledge of the local area, including transports links and amenities.
Working closely and directly with Branch Manager to understand Pedder best practices and USPs. It is expected that you will be a catalyst for property offers/deals.
Providing detailed post-viewing feedback and any important follow up information to the Branch Manager for handover to the FT team or for the purpose of an offer.
Updating relevant company systems/portals where expected/requested.
Ensuring that a high level of customer service is always delivered, and that you understand the importance of a friendly and professional first impression.
Be a champion of our brand and services at all times.
Key-holder responsibility.
Viewing Agent - Essential candidate requirements:
Be a vehicle owner with a full driving license.
Be professional, responsible, and reliable.
Be confident and organised.
Experience of conducting property viewings/in a similar role.
Be available each Saturday, and for a handover call (usually on a Friday) prior to your shift.
Whilst you will be allocated a branch, you may be asked to support an alternate branch on occasion.
Viewing Agent - Hours/Salary:
This is a zero-hour contract/role
. You will be offered work on an 'as required' basis based upon a pre-populated viewing calendar for that week. The Company is under no obligation to provide you with work, or to provide you with a minimum number of hours' work each day or week.
You could be offered a shift at any time between the hours of 10:00am and 16:00pm on a Saturday and only up to a maximum period of 6 hours on any one day. We ask that you only apply for this role if you are available
every Saturday between 10:00-16:00.
Notice, usually being 48 hours prior, shall be provided to you by the Company in advance of each shift. You must provide the Company with no less than 24 hours' notice when accepting, declining, or cancelling any work offered to you.
Your hourly rate of pay is 20.00. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
You will be paid in monthly instalments. Hours are confirmed by your line manager by submission of a timesheet. Timesheets are submitted at the beginning of each month and relate to hours worked the month prior. Pay at the end of each month relates to hours worked in the previous month.
We reserve the right to review or terminate this arrangement where 3 shifts are declined in a 12-week period (not including days booked as part of your holiday entitlement).
