We're looking for someone enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about the hobby world to help run the shop on Saturdays, including opening and closing duties.
The ideal candidate will also be confident using social media and websites to help keep our online presence up to date.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on retail role perfect for someone who loves the hobby scene. You'll be welcoming customers, giving product guidance, handling sales and maintaining the shop. Part of the role includes posting simple updates to social media and helping with basic website maintenance (training provided).

We are looking for a friendly and responsible individual to join our team as a Part-Time Saturday Shop Assistant. This role requires opening and closing the shop, assisting customers and supporting our online presence through simple social media updates and website maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Shop Duties:
Open the shop at the start of the day and securely close at the end
Serve customers, answer questions and provide product recommendations
Operate the till and process cash/card payments
Restock shelves and maintain shop presentation
Answer telephone enquiries
Keep the shop clean, tidy and welcoming
Social Media & Website Duties:
Post basic updates or photos to our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
Take simple product photos or shop updates for online use
Help update website listings (prices, stock, descriptions training provided)
Assist with online enquiries where required
Maintain a positive and professional tone when representing the brand online
Requirements:
Experience in one or more hobby areas:
Model Railways
Plastic Kits
Wargaming/Tabletop Gaming
Comfortable using social media platforms
Basic computer skills and confidence navigating websites
Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently
Good communication skills and a customer-first attitude
Retail experience is a bonus but not essential (full training provided)
Hours & Pay:
Saturdays only - 5 hours per week
Paid at National Minimum Wage
