Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swimming teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in swimming, with the ability to educate children of all ages and skill levels. Our swim school is calm and friendly, and we create a great environment for both the teacher and the swimmers.

Responsibilities

Teaching every Saturday during the school term-time from 11am-2pm Conduct group lessons for various age groups and skill levels. Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Cater to the needs of each student while ensuring a fun and engaging learning environment. Communicate effectively with the manager regarding swimmers' progress and any concerns.

Requirements

Recognised lead swimming teacher qualification (not assistant) Past experience in swimming teaching is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, water safety, and rescue procedures. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students. Commitment to teaching during most Saturdays during the school term Certification in lifeguarding or first aid is an advantage. A passion for teaching and helping others develop their swimming abilities. Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
