Duties

Assist with food preparation, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and presentation requirements Serve customers efficiently and courteously, providing a positive dining experience Take orders accurately and process transactions using the point-of-sale system Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks effectively Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment Restock supplies as needed and assist in inventory management

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is desirable but not essential Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portion control Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen work is preferred Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour Ability to work well within a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment A genuine interest in culinary arts or hospitality is a plus
