Little Kickers Blackheath is looking for a weekend coach to run our toddler football classes age ranging from 18months to 7 years old.

Training will be provided by our operations manager and head coach and also ready to opening new class in January which you will run.

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Football Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating and training players in the fundamentals of football, fostering teamwork, and developing their skills to enhance performance on the pitch. This role requires a strong commitment to player development and a deep understanding of the game.

Duties

Develop and implement training programmes that focus on skill development, fitness, and teamwork. Conduct regular practice sessions and drills to improve players' technical abilities and tactical understanding. Evaluate players' performance during practices and matches, providing constructive feedback for improvement. Create a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages participation and sportsmanship. Organise match schedules, including transportation and logistics for away games. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff regarding player progress and team objectives. Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and strategies to enhance team performance.

Skills

Strong background in sports coaching with a focus on football. Excellent communication skills to educate players effectively. Ability to motivate and inspire athletes of varying skill levels. Strong organisational skills to manage training sessions, matches, and player development plans. Knowledge of game strategies, rules, and regulations. Capability to assess player performance objectively and provide actionable feedback.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 11.50-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 6 per week
