We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team, on a Saturday in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome.
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and the overall dining environment throughout the shift.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for complete satisfaction.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests.
Assist with closing duties, including cleaning and restocking supplies as necessary.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality would be an advantage but not mandatory as full on the job training is given.
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
