PART-TIME TRAINEE ROCK & POP MUSIC TUTORS - GUITAR / DRUMS / KEYBOARDS

Are you a cool rock/pop musician in SE London or NW Kent? Available on Saturdays until 2pm? Do you play guitar, drums or piano/keyboard at Grade 6 level or above?

Our part-time rock & pop music school in Welling is expanding our tutor team and has immediate vacancies for local musicians to train as tutors for young beginners through to intermediate level.

Ideal first step into simplified teaching in an informal, supportive environment Tutor training provided in our own systems Personality and enthusiasm more important than formal qualifications Must be great with children and teens alike, with engaging, warm personality
SKILLS:

Drums, electric guitar or piano/keyboard is ESSENTIAL as your main instrument. (Any additional instrumental skills useful if you'd like to teach more than one instrument) Must be able to PLAY to at least Grade 6 level in your main instrument (grade qualification not required) Must have a reasonable understanding of relevant theory, as appropriate for your instrument Must be able to read drum music, guitar tab or piano notation, as relevant to your instrument.
WHERE & WHEN?

Classes held at Harris Academy Falconwood, Welling. Must live within 30 minutes easy travelling of DA16 2PE Must be available to teach Saturdays 9.20am-1.50pm Continuous employment all year round, except for Christmas period
RATE OF PAY: 11.00/hr (under 21 yrs), 12.50/hr (21+)

DBS check will be required for successful applicants.
