Brown Brothers in Kirkconnel are currently looking for a Sausage Room Team Leader. The hours of work are 6.00am - 2.00pm Monday to Friday. The rate of pay starts at 12.85 per hour moving to 13.10 per hour once fully trained.
Job Purpose:
The purpose of the position is to ensure productivity and to assist the Sausage Room Manager in the effective day-to-day running of the Sausage area. Supervision of staff. Ensuring product quality, traceability, throughput, hygiene and Health & Safety Procedures are maintained.
Responsibilities:
Motivate team and maintain working relationship and bring problems back to Manager Ensure Health & Safety policies and procedures are complied with Ensure speciation and allergen control are carried out effectively Ensure hygiene standards in sausage area by operating a "clean as you go system" Ensure waste material of any description are disposed of hygienically Ensure any non-conforming product is brought to the attention of Manager Ensure all admin is carried out correctly Ensure all daily KPI'S and targets are met Check and add orders into the system Stock Checks Plan weekly production and liaise with the department manager.

Pay: 12.85-13.10 per hour
